The Centre of Digital Media

The Client: GNWC Masters of Digital Media Program

Project Description: The Great Northern Way’s Master of Digital Media Program is a mouth full. Wanting to call themselves The Centre for Digital Media they set out starting that ball rolling. One huge problem stood in the way. UBC, BCIT, SFU and Emily Carr UAD (the partners in the program) did not consider themselves a “Centre” and for legal reasons could not call themselves such.

Time was running out as the grand opening approached and a need to market for their first ever semester was looming only months away. The design agency they were working with quit.

On the first meeting we creatively sketched out a plan in pencil on a scrap piece of paper changing The Centre for Digital Media to The Centre of Digital Media. The ball was once again rolling and we did all their marketing and media that year including:

  • Website
  • Georgia Straight ads and more
  • Vancouver Sun and Province ads
  • Magazine ads
  • Bus wraps
  • Full presentation centre design and set up
  • Business cards
  • Folders
  • Posters
  • Banners

Pictured above is an example of one brochure.
