The Client: Credo Interactive (View the site)

Project Description:  Based in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, Credo is a leader in creating innovative content, products, solutions and choreography for 3D character animation applications. DanceForms is one such product. It’s a piece of software developed for choreographing large dance numbers so the choreographer has an idea what they are doing before renting a large rehearsal space. They have the logo, they have the content, they have a great product; Now they just need to sell it. The first step in doing that is to inform the public. We created this to look like a poster for a show so as to engage the creative mind. Software? Dance? how does this work. This flyer tells a story of how it works.

Yes, we design print materials too. If you don’t want to waste paper, have us design your next flyer. Contact us today.

Project Description:  This project grew all the way from the logo to a fully functional and finished website. A large undertaking with a tonne of content. Publishing in versions is the best way to go on a site like this. Creating Version Releases of your website is a great idea for a number of reasons and BetterLiving Group have done it right. During the build myRealPage released a new Weblet in their websites for real estate platform called Neighborhood pages. As you can see we made full use of them.

The Client: Judy Shih

Judy Shih Likes TribalYellTestimonial: “TribalYell was extremely easy to work with and very patient. They were always prompt in returning my calls or emails as there is a lot of back an forth when trying to build a website. They made the process easy and painless. I would highly recommend them” ~Judy Shih

Project Description: We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves working for Judy. She had a vision and we listened, presented, refined and programmed the approved design. Like many websites, there is more that could be done to this one and we published it at a perfect point for additions. Unlike printed materials we can publish a website before it’s completed. How do your visitors know it’s not completed? We can then add to the website at anytime your budget allows us to move forward to the next version. We can create a version plan for your next website project. Give us a call or drop us an email.

The Client: Andrew Hasman  www.AndrewHasman.com (As Marketing Manager at RE/MAX Real Estate Services)

Project Description: We had been managing a professional SEO company to work on Andrew Hasman’s old website. Months went by and things were going well when we suddenly hit a wall. The old website platform had certain areas of SEO locked or inaccessible. Our SEO subcontractors could not go any further and suggested moving the website to the myRealPage.com platform where SEO options are not locked and inaccessible. There was also a need to bend the website to meet certain marketing goals and ongoing marketing plans. So a very powerful real estate website platform was needed.

In August of 2011 we began wire-framing a new website for Andrew Hasman. In September we had the Mock-up approved and content written. By October the website was published.

Project Descirption: Create a logo for a new DJ just entering the scene. It had to be playful and identifiable as more that just a kid’s scribbled text. It can never be confused with a kid’s clothing store or adult hobby shop. This logo is one of the few we have done where the finished product is basic black. The logo is really the shape of the font only because it takes on the colour of the marketing piece it is a part of which means there is no final colour. Fun!

Project Description: Harpreet Christie, a REALTOR® in Lloydminster Alberta, has been talking to us for some time about creating a more solid identity for herself. At her request we gave her pricing for a logo and new website. She told us she would budget for that and get back to us. About six months later Harpreet gave us the go-ahead to start and here we are with her new logo. At this writing her website is being completed and we are starting to move the branding into other areas such as business cards and social media.

Simple LogoProject Description: We believe in memorable, portable designs. Like the National Geographic to the right, the simplest designs are the easiest to remember because our brains don’t have to do any work to store it away. They are the easiest to display on many different mediums making it more portable. This was the thinking behind Laura T. Carter’s new word mark and trade mark. The big bold blocks emphasize the mathematical equal sign symbol which is the solution to every equation. We styled the mark in the form of a flag which will be useful for real life events. The overall piece offers a positive forward moving motion.

Testimonial: Thank you Paul for all of your help with my website. I just received a call from a past client of mine that visited my site. She was very impressed with the look and feel of the website, as well as all of the high priced homes being pulled through reciprocity. I will be meeting with her for a listing appointment tomorrow. I am confident that business will continue to be strong with the image that you have created for me. Thank you again and I look forward to working with you in the future. See all our testimonials >>

David Setton Contact PageProject Description: Create a website that will use his display advertising as banner images.  We did a website for David about a year ago on a myRealPage platform. David is one of our Tribe; An ongoing return client and doing well. So why change the look of his website after only a year? For one thing our pricing. In David’s case we have a Canada Post advertising campaign to hit mail boxes once a week for 8 weeks and then dropping back to monthly. The campaign and client reach was not matching the look and feel of his dark white on black website. We both wanted something to match the campaign and feel more friendly, open and easy to use.

What sets us apart from others in this arena is our inherently good SEO; The ability to keep the text content as text and the graphics in the background.

Fairview Living Logo

Fairview Living Logo

Posted in: Logo Design, Projects by Paul McEwan on August 26, 2011 | No Comments

The Client: James Beare (RE/MAX Real Estate Services)

Project Description: It had to be simple. It had to use only a few colours of the existing website. It had to depict a fair view of a liveable city scape. We also managed to squeeze in the “F” and “L” of the Fairview LivingFairview Living name with the use of negative space. This logo doesn’t use or need any gloss effects, reflections, shading or gradients of any kind. Using only two colours and simple shapes makes this logo easier to remember at a glance. Look for this logo on signs in the Fairview Slopes area.

The logo will soon be added to The Fairview Living real estate website as it goes through a mild facelift. Fairview Living website uses the myRealPage platform so making these alterations will be cost effective and fairly straight forward.
