Project Description: This is not a custom template. This is advanced administration completed over a few days for Debra Klassen on the real estate website solution MyRealPage platform. There are an increasing number of clients asking us to tweak their website instead of having a complete re-build. Although this can sometimes save time and money it is often not the case.  We would like to point out a few things to think about if you decide to go this route:

• There is no mock-up unless you ask for one. We just go in and make changes based on your branding.
• Your requests can not be specific or abundant. We need to have room to design.
• If you don’t like what we do, you’ll pay for the changes over and above any errors and omissions.
• This cannot be done without branding. We will need to start with creating your logo first if you have none.

So we had already done logo work for Debra Klassen and she had a standard myRealPage website template. She works with developers and her personal website is not her primary concern but she wants it to look good. So that’s what we did. No proof. Just web administration to make the site match her brand. MyRealPage makes it possible to tweak a design so customers don’t recognize it as something “Sort of like that other guys site”.

If you aren’t comfortable with the design grab bag idea of advanced administration and want to know what it’s going to look like then add a mock-up to the mix or choose our Custom Template Package that comes with a wire-frame proof; a mock-up proof; and a live proof before publishing.

Project Description: Kim came to TribalYell to get some perspective. His old site was tired and needed a lot of up dating and work to shoe horn in some of the latest features he knew he wanted. He had a request for an Apple/Mac looking design. We had just the real estate website solution. MyRealPage was able to handle all his development desires and we were able to incoporate his specific design request as a custom theme with a  layout offering clear direction for the user to take.

The Client: Bonnie Hastings

This is a custom website that was created entirely by doing advanced administration within the myRealPage Private Office only. The benefit of doing your site this way is reduced costs if you forgo the mock-up proofing stage and trust our decision making.  Since Bonnie wanted to keep costs down and was happy to let us make the design decisions and her requests were simple we stuck to advanced administration only.

The best thing about making website changes entirely with Advanced Administration in your myRealPage Private Office is being able to adjust something later. No special tools are needed, nothing to download, edit and then re-upload. Just login and edit.

The Client: Sayo Nickerson as part of RE/MAX Real Estate Services

Project Description: A logo for the combined team of Sayo Nickerson and Robin Vrba

It’s not often we get one of these. Like Toronto Dominion and Canada Trust, two well established businesses and equally well established clientèle come together as one. Using the TD Canada trust merger as an example we decided, like them, not to alienate either audience and take key components of both logos to create the new version.

At the same time we were working on this, Sayo Nickerson, the team leader, signed up to large advetising agency in the U.S. to let them have a go at the re-branding. In the end we are happy to say our ideas won out and the only thing kept from the U.S. advertising agency was the “All For One”.

Below are the old logos done by other design agencies and our new one is pictured above.

The new logo incorporates growth adding a new green colour and using Sayo Nickerson’s old “tree” logo but rounding it out to represent the completeness of the team. The flower between the names acts not only as a separator of the words but also is like a bulls eye which says “all for one” without actually needing the words.

The Client: The Vrba Nickerson Real Estate Team: as part of RE/MAX Real Estate Services

Project Description: An open website, full of information with updatability by team members.

Robin Vrba and Sayo Nickerson Joined forces. They went through a temporary re-branding as part of the change. The Robin Vrba Team had a one website provider and Sayo Nickerson had myRealPage. When the team joined together, their marketing person, who had been used to working with the former and and was now new to myRealPage, found it substantially better. It was requested by the entire team, because that’s the way they do things, to combine the sites into the one myRealPage website. This is their first version.

The Client: Schumann Li Team: as part of RE/MAX Real Estate Services

Project Description: Schumann Li is a very busy Realtor® working with a team of dedicated people. They are so busy they hired a student to help create an identity package and website wire-frame for direction. From this information we developed a mock-up of what the website would look like. That approved design became real via the staging link and the team went to work populating it with content.

The staging link is unique to myRealPage. It is a link to the new fully functional but un-published website. Design and content can be applied to the new website via staging while the old published website is still doing it’s job. After the new website is proofed and approved using the staging link the decision is made to publish the website. Literally one click and confirmation is all it takes to publish a website from the staging area. There is no need to export the website and data-base to a new location.

We have refined an efficient and cost effective process for designing a website. MyRealPage works well with our process by keeping the client involved. From wire-frame to mock-up; content insertion to proofing, our clients know what’s going on. The schumann Li website was a very hands on experience for the entire team and helped pull this design process together.

This is phase one of Kristy’s Private Property Realty site. Kristy Mattiazzo’s plans run far and wide and it was a pleasure to listen and help align some key areas of focus and bring the design together as a spring board for her near future endeavors. MyRealPage allows a Realtor to make use of any market niche but also get up and running with a new design right away while the marketing machine is moving behind the scenes.

To be a Realtor that sells co-ops and market to this audience is a Realtor who understands niche marketing. This niche is not related to a geographical area like traditional “farm” areas.
