Project Descirption: Create a logo for a new DJ just entering the scene. It had to be playful and identifiable as more that just a kid’s scribbled text. It can never be confused with a kid’s clothing store or adult hobby shop. This logo is one of the few we have done where the finished product is basic black. The logo is really the shape of the font only because it takes on the colour of the marketing piece it is a part of which means there is no final colour. Project Description: Harpreet Christie, a REALTOR® in Lloydminster Alberta, has been talking to us for some time about creating a more solid identity for herself. At her request we gave her pricing for a logo and new website. She told us she would budget for that and get back to us. About six months later Harpreet gave us the go-ahead to start and here we are with her new logo. At this writing her website is being completed and we are starting to move the branding into other areas such as business cards and social media.

Project Description: We believe in memorable, portable designs. Like the National Geographic to the right, the simplest designs are the easiest to remember because our brains don’t have to do any work to store it away. They are the easiest to display on many different mediums making it more portable. This was the thinking behind Laura T. Carter’s new word mark and trade mark. The big bold blocks emphasize the mathematical equal sign symbol which is the solution to every equation. We styled the mark in the form of a flag which will be useful for real life events. The overall piece offers a positive forward moving motion.

The Client: James Beare (RE/MAX Real Estate Services)

Project Description: It had to be simple. It had to use only a few colours of the existing website. It had to depict a fair view of a liveable city scape. We also managed to squeeze in the “F” and “L” of the Fairview Living name with the use of negative space. This logo doesn’t use or need any gloss effects, reflections, shading or gradients of any kind. Using only two colours and simple shapes makes this logo easier to remember at a glance. Look for this logo on signs in the Fairview Slopes area.

The logo will soon be added to The Fairview Living real estate website as it goes through a mild facelift. Fairview Living website uses the myRealPage platform so making these alterations will be cost effective and fairly straight forward.

Project Description: This year saw the start of a brand new real estate consultancy called Sargeant Real Estate Consultants. I was asked to create the entire brand for this. New images, colours, fonts and advertising direction all played a part of the initial request from Sargeant Real Estate Consultants. Everything was completed within 2 months!

The usual items where created such as design for envelopes, letterhead, business cards, presentation folder, and feature sheets; I also completed their myRealPage website design, an advertising campaign, notepads, Kits Communications design, Calendar slug, postcard shells and implemented auto loading listings into their Facebook Fanpage. Project Description: This logo was created for Tina using the TribalYell Spear Head Brand Package. We create an exclusive logo at the same time as the marketing piece that is required. An example might be someone requiring a website header and branding. With this option the logo is developed while creating the website header.The Process: You receive a choice of 3 basic ideas for direction. Requested changes are made to the one you choose and we implement it into that marketing piece.

Tina received 5 different ideas to choose from, (OK, we went over the alloted 3). From those 5 she chose 2 (She couldn’t decide on one). We provided 4 variations each of those two and from that she chose one. Onto the business card and website. Tina is off to a good start.

Project Description: Who are these people? They’re stars, that’s who. We have had a lot of fun with this logo because the direction allows us to head the branding in a unique direction. Gold star ratings and front row seating to your new home search all play a part of the brand with the logo leading the way.
