Brandon Harris

The Client: Brandon Harris (View the website)
Project Description: This was one of those projects that was just plain down-right fun. It’s important for us to keep things fun because that keeps things creative. Communication is a two way street and Brandon, although not in the creative field is a creative person and for us, that’s one of the things which makes him fun to work with. It was also his ability to let go and trust our creative. But we’re not the only ones who finds him fun to work with, read his testimonials. People simply want to be with this person and this was important for us to create a website that projected this, his style and personality.
Brandon Harris had a semi-styled MyRealPage template. As you know we are expert myRealaPage designers. We cleared the existing design and applied the new one we created. Like all of our web designs, all the content text and headlines are editable by himself or us. We use Cufón Font Replacement instead of using images for headlines and this is important to the operation of your website and on-page search engine optimization. myRealPage has the editable areas to add the script of this type of web standard design. Fairview Living Advertising
Posted in: Print Media, Projects by Paul McEwan on May 13, 2011 | No Comments
The Client: James Beare (Fairview Living)
Project Description: This is part of an advertising campaign to advance the use of James Beare’s Fairview Living real estate services. In this market home owners are often surprised at the increased value of their home but just as shocked at what it might cost to purchase something better and stay in the area. The piece we created is a story told as simply as possible so it will make sense in the seconds it is seen on line, in a magazine or on a video screen that many of us can easily relate to.
The Result: This campaign finished a year ago and in that time James has shown an increase in on line visits to his website that was built specific to the area and campaign. He had calls from people to tell him how much they liked the website. He still gets calls to today (as of this writing one year later) on services advertised in the offer demonstrating that people are seeing this advertising as something of value and when that happens, it becomes a personal experience.

Edmonton Real Estate gets personality
Posted in: Projects, Websites by Paul McEwan on April 27, 2011 | No Comments
The Client: Audrey Abuan & Mike Muranetz (Visit the website)
Project Description: Another designer friend of ours, Michelle Vella of REALstudio, sent Mike and Audrey over to us to investigate the price, process and expertise of TribalYell’s web services. We often work with designers who use our services for developing the code part of the website. The designer often continues to work with their client and develop the website mock-up design which is sent to us for coding. In some cases we act as a contractor to the designer and their client doesn’t even know we exist. In this case, Mike and Audrey were happy to work with two different people and we based the website design on the logo provided by Michelle. You can see it featured on myRealPage here.
The main desire Mike and Audrey were looking to achieve was to have people contact them from their myrealpage website. Their previous website was getting a lot of bounce, (people leaving the site). It was busy and crowded with all sorts of tools and we believe the name “Oil City Real Estate” wasn’t personal enough to be engaging. The new layout and design we came up with organizes the interactivity of the website and really opens up the personality of who Mike and Audrey are making the idea of contacting them from the home page seem perfectly reasonable.

Tina Yarn online
Posted in: Projects, Websites by Paul McEwan on April 25, 2011 | No Comments
The Client: Tina Yarn (View the website)
Project Description: Tina Yarn’s website is another great example of our Custom Power Brand Website package explained in our services and in Jill Hannan’s project page. This website project was part of a larger project piece that included a TribalYell Spear Head Brand Package which is also described in our services and on Tina Yarn’s logo page.
Tina Yarn was was already using a myRealPage website with one of the new templates they offer. This was not a complete solution for her. Tina recognized the need to have a completely custom website using her own look and feel that no one else can copy. Her content was already in place and the new design was applied around it.
Tina Yarn’s Personal Logo
Posted in: Logo Design, Projects by Paul McEwan on March 24, 2011 | No Comments
The Client: Tina Yarn
Project Description: This logo was created for Tina using the TribalYell Spear Head Brand Package. We create an exclusive logo at the same time as the marketing piece that is required. An example might be someone requiring a website header and branding. With this option the logo is developed while creating the website header. The Process: You receive a choice of 3 basic ideas for direction. Requested changes are made to the one you choose and we implement it into that marketing piece.
Tina received 5 different ideas to choose from, (OK, we went over the alloted 3). From those 5 she chose 2 (She couldn’t decide on one). We provided 4 variations each of those two and from that she chose one. Onto the business card and website. Tina is off to a good start.
Did you know that the design of professional marketing pieces such as business cards, postcards and websites are all hinged on the personal brand? To see visual branding illustrated check out her website. Let’s get started!
