The Client: BetterLiving Group (View the site)
Project Description: This project grew all the way from the logo to a fully functional and finished website. A large undertaking with a tonne of content. Publishing in versions is the best way to go on a site like this. Creating Version Releases of your website is a great idea for a number of reasons and BetterLiving Group have done it right. During the build myRealPage released a new Weblet in their websites for real estate platform called Neighborhood pages. As you can see we made full use of them.

Real Estate Website for Judy Shih

The Client: Judy Shih
Testimonial: “TribalYell was extremely easy to work with and very patient. They were always prompt in returning my calls or emails as there is a lot of back an forth when trying to build a website. They made the process easy and painless. I would highly recommend them” ~Judy Shih
Project Description: We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves working for Judy. She had a vision and we listened, presented, refined and programmed the approved design. Like many websites, there is more that could be done to this one and we published it at a perfect point for additions. Unlike printed materials we can publish a website before it’s completed. How do your visitors know it’s not completed? We can then add to the website at anytime your budget allows us to move forward to the next version. We can create a version plan for your next website project. Give us a call or drop us an email.
Andrew Hasman Website

The Client: Andrew Hasman www.AndrewHasman.com (As Marketing Manager at RE/MAX Real Estate Services)
Project Description: We had been managing a professional SEO company to work on Andrew Hasman’s old website. Months went by and things were going well when we suddenly hit a wall. The old website platform had certain areas of SEO locked or inaccessible. Our SEO subcontractors could not go any further and suggested moving the website to the myRealPage.com platform where SEO options are not locked and inaccessible. There was also a need to bend the website to meet certain marketing goals and ongoing marketing plans. So a very powerful real estate website platform was needed.
In August of 2011 we began wire-framing a new website for Andrew Hasman. In September we had the Mock-up approved and content written. By October the website was published.

David Setton Campaign

The Client: David Setton DavidSetton.com
Testimonial: Thank you Paul for all of your help with my website. I just received a call from a past client of mine that visited my site. She was very impressed with the look and feel of the website, as well as all of the high priced homes being pulled through reciprocity. I will be meeting with her for a listing appointment tomorrow. I am confident that business will continue to be strong with the image that you have created for me. Thank you again and I look forward to working with you in the future. See all our testimonials >>
Project Description: Create a website that will use his display advertising as banner images. We did a website for David about a year ago on a myRealPage platform. David is one of our Tribe; An ongoing return client and doing well. So why change the look of his website after only a year? For one thing our pricing. In David’s case we have a Canada Post advertising campaign to hit mail boxes once a week for 8 weeks and then dropping back to monthly. The campaign and client reach was not matching the look and feel of his dark white on black website. We both wanted something to match the campaign and feel more friendly, open and easy to use.
What sets us apart from others in this arena is our inherently good SEO; The ability to keep the text content as text and the graphics in the background.

The Client: Kits Graphics (View the site)
Project Description: All they wanted was a single page website that can answer the question “what we do”, “Where we Are” and “How to Contact us” and actually have people content them. The answer was this website designed specifically to capture contacts and phone calls. There is no need to complicate something like this. Since being contacted is one of the priorities we made the contact form colourful and put it up at the top. The graphic moves the visitor’s eye from the logo across to the contact form passing by the the phone number which is in two places.
This was designed as a custom self hosted WordPress theme. We also host this website too. Do you need a simple website completed? Contact us today.
Brandon Harris

The Client: Brandon Harris (View the website)
Project Description: This was one of those projects that was just plain down-right fun. It’s important for us to keep things fun because that keeps things creative. Communication is a two way street and Brandon, although not in the creative field is a creative person and for us, that’s one of the things which makes him fun to work with. It was also his ability to let go and trust our creative. But we’re not the only ones who finds him fun to work with, read his testimonials. People simply want to be with this person and this was important for us to create a website that projected this, his style and personality.
Brandon Harris had a semi-styled MyRealPage template. As you know we are expert myRealaPage designers. We cleared the existing design and applied the new one we created. Like all of our web designs, all the content text and headlines are editable by himself or us. We use Cufón Font Replacement instead of using images for headlines and this is important to the operation of your website and on-page search engine optimization. myRealPage has the editable areas to add the script of this type of web standard design. Edmonton Real Estate gets personality
Posted in: Projects, Websites by Paul McEwan on April 27, 2011 | No Comments
The Client: Audrey Abuan & Mike Muranetz (Visit the website)
Project Description: Another designer friend of ours, Michelle Vella of REALstudio, sent Mike and Audrey over to us to investigate the price, process and expertise of TribalYell’s web services. We often work with designers who use our services for developing the code part of the website. The designer often continues to work with their client and develop the website mock-up design which is sent to us for coding. In some cases we act as a contractor to the designer and their client doesn’t even know we exist. In this case, Mike and Audrey were happy to work with two different people and we based the website design on the logo provided by Michelle. You can see it featured on myRealPage here.
The main desire Mike and Audrey were looking to achieve was to have people contact them from their myrealpage website. Their previous website was getting a lot of bounce, (people leaving the site). It was busy and crowded with all sorts of tools and we believe the name “Oil City Real Estate” wasn’t personal enough to be engaging. The new layout and design we came up with organizes the interactivity of the website and really opens up the personality of who Mike and Audrey are making the idea of contacting them from the home page seem perfectly reasonable.

Tina Yarn online

The Client: Tina Yarn (View the website)
Project Description: Tina Yarn’s website is another great example of our Custom Power Brand Website package explained in our services and in Jill Hannan’s project page. This website project was part of a larger project piece that included a TribalYell Spear Head Brand Package which is also described in our services and on Tina Yarn’s logo page.
Tina Yarn was was already using a myRealPage website with one of the new templates they offer. This was not a complete solution for her. Tina recognized the need to have a completely custom website using her own look and feel that no one else can copy. Her content was already in place and the new design was applied around it.

Jill Hannan’s Website
Posted in: Projects, Websites by Paul McEwan on March 15, 2011 | No Comments
The Client: Jill Hannan (View the website)
Project Description: This website project was done through TribalYells’ own Custom Template Package System we call the Custom Power Brand Website. A system of proofing and communication that keeps you the client involved yet doesn’t leave you feeling too bogged down with having to answer questions every few hours.
We have done enough custom websites to know what it takes to create them and have put together the Custom Power Brand package. There is no way to package design but there are ways to package the process and communication. We have refined that process to be efficient and cost effective. Here is what you get:
- Wire Frame: Line drawing for rough layout, menu items, placement of lead-ins and other aspects of your website. We move onto the mock-up once this is approved.
- Mock-Up: A scaled image of your website based on the approved Wire Frame. This gives you a detailed visual of most design elements.
- PSD2MRP: Photoshop Document to myRealPage: Includes all the coding necessary to make your new website look like the approved mock-up and work on the myRealPage platform.
- 4 pages content insertion: Content is anything supplied by you over and above what’s already on your website. This could include Youtube video, pre-defined searches, copy, links.
Jill Hannan was already a myRealPage site owner. That helped with this project. All her content was already in place and we were able to apply the new design right around it.
